The following acts are prohibited

Anything with the intention to harm via political agendas, racism, misogyny, hate speech, etc.

Anything with the purpose to slander the YOU:MAY brand and/or the people involved in the project

Anything that creates unnecessary conflict, tension, and/or competition with other parties/groups.
Any other content related to this project that is deemed inappropriate

Note For Merchandise: Merchandise on a small-scale is acceptable. Merchandise intended to generate large amounts of profit is not allowed.

In Regards To Support

Supporting YOU:MAY and its members/staff is encouraged. However, certain actions are prohibited.

Fan Accounts: YOU:MAY does not condemn the formation of fan accounts, assuming that their intentions are not malicious. However, any fan accounts that seek to promote or advertise the group must explicitly state that they are not officially affiliated with the project. Additionally, fan accounts may not spread false news or information regarding the group, nor are they allowed to engage in behavior that may reflect poorly on the group’s image. Ex. Getting into squabbles with other parties and/or using language that is deemed aggressive and unprofessional will not be tolerated. If such incidents are to occur, the fan account responsible is subject to being reported/terminated.

YOU:MAY is not responsible for the actions or behaviors of both unrelated and related parties. This involves the actions and behaviors of fans, commenters, and any users YOU:MAY may have collaborated with in the past or may collaborate with in the future. YOU:MAY does not support any behavior which encourages immorality, hate, or any sort of prejudice. Affiliation, whether accidental or intentional, with individuals or groups that may reflect the above behaviors will be withdrawn. This may include withdrawal from association with the alleged group/individuals, the deletion of works created with affordmentioned group/individuals, or any other actions deemed necessary to protect YOU:MAY’s reputation.

In Regards To Illustrative Works

YOU:MAY encourages fans to express support in almost any way they wish. This includes the creation of illustrations. The members of YOU:MAY may be drawn freely under the assumption of good intentions. However, the following acts regarding illustrations are strictly prohibited:

Portrayal of the members that of which intend to harm, offend, or bully other parties, especially on the basis of inflicting racism, misogyny, or anything deemed to be malicious or hateful.

Portrayals of the members that of which stray too far beyond the lines of recognition. This includes illustrations that drastically change core aspects of the members’ designs, including but not limited to:

Changing multiple features all at once such as hair color, hair length, eye color, skin color, etc. to the point of which the depiction cannot be reasonably attributed to an accurate portrayal of the member.
Drastically altering any members’ skin tone (ex. darkening a member's skin tone or lightening a member's skin tone). Note: The whitening of any dark skinned member’s skin color is strongly discouraged, especially any such depiction which seeks to “fix” a member's design or that which encourages negativity, prejudice, or any hateful agendas.

Use of the member's qualities (design, voice, character) to represent other UTAU, OCs, or characters.
Derivatives sourced directly by attributes of the members (see below)
Portrayals of the members which violate any law or are deemed to be extremely immoral
Illustrations that are deemed extremely sexual, graphic, or violent are generally discouraged. Furthermore, depictions that carry the aforementioned qualities must be tagged and/or hidden properly to ensure that they do not come into contact with any parties that may be underage.
Illustrations which violate any of the above clauses will not be promoted by the group, and any violations which are deemed to be especially egregious will be reported.

Use of AI Technology & Generation

Tied with the above clauses, YOU:MAY forbids the use of AI technology to study and analyze the members’ designs with the purpose of creating derivative works (characters, illustrations, etc.)

YOU:MAY also forbids the similar use of AI technology to study and analyze the members’ official illustrations and/or designs with the purpose of replicating Only1’s art style, or the art style of any artist whose art is officially affiliated with the project.

YOU:MAY forbids the use of AI technology to replicate (or create the likeness of) the members’ voices.
